Add Site Footer
How to add a site-wide footer to new Google Sites
Instructions
Add a site-wide footer
Scroll to the bottom of any page
Use the + Add footer button
Enter the content you want to appear in the footer
Your footer now appears at the bottom of every page on the site
Notes
You can hide a footer from specific pages (see below)
You can add any type of content to the footer, e.g. text, images, links, embedded URLs/Apps Script web apps and embedded HTML.
Whenever you make a change to your site's content you need to publish the site.
Edit site-wide footer
Scroll to the bottom of any page
Use the Edit footer button (you may need to hover your mouse over the footer to see it)
Your footer updates at the bottom of every page on the site
Note
If you hide the footer on a page you do not see the option to edit the footer, so either show the footer (see below) and edit or visit a page where you display the footer
Hide footer
Scroll to the bottom of any page
Use the Hide footer on this page icon (looks like an eye)
Your footer hides on the page
Show footer
Scroll to the bottom of any page
Use the Show footer on this page icon (looks like an eye with a diagonal line through)
