Use the Embed URL option from the Insert panel (or the URL option from the Disc)
Enter your URL in the Embed from the web dialogue box
Choose either the Whole page option to see the full page inserted in your site or the Preview option if you want to see a link card.
Use the Insert button to complete and then you can choose to size and position the embedded site
You can only embed secure (https) URLs
If the website owner does not allow the site to appear in an iframe you cannot embed
You will only see the Preview option if the website provides the necessary Open Graph protocol tags
Fusion Tables URLs cannot be used at the moment.

Use the Insert button to complete and then you can choose to size and position the embedded script
This is not full Apps Script integration with new Google Sites, so getting the site or page URL, etc, is not available
The embed tool removes any URL parameters so you need to add the information given in the parameters in a different way
If you use a custom domain web address mapping for your site you need to ensure that you enable the script to appear in an iframe - see setXFrameOptionsMode(mode)
