The New Admin Updates for Google Meet Management Settings enables admins to control the access for Google Meet features for Chat, Q&A, Polls and Present using the admin console.
The features are enabled by default. In order to access - Admin need to browse to Admin console under > Apps > Google Workspace > Google Meet > Meet safety settings.
Benefits:
Admin will decide the access for features like present, chat, Q&A, and polling features in Google Meet.
Settings applies to all new and existing meetings for users in the selected organizational unit once updated by the admin.
